In practical terms, the work was structured across the following initiatives:
- Directed a technical team of System Architects and Fullstack Developers, serving as both Technical Product Owner and Scrum Master in a SAFe/Agile framework
- Delivered the API Management platform, including a customer-facing Developer Portal and a new IAM system
- Bridged business and technology through data analysis and BI dashboards, driving product decisions and automating onboarding via Salesforce integrations
- Spearheaded API and data modeling for high-stakes products, including credit risk assessment, KYC/AML processes, and ESG reporting used by Sweden’s four major banks
- Standardized developer experience by revising API design guidelines and implementing OpenAPI standards to simplify large-scale Fintech integrations
- Modernized authentication protocols by integrating with ForgeRock and Active Directory using OIDC for secure, industrial-grade access
- Managed a complex migration from on-premises infrastructure to cloud, including setup of OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters and integration with existing CI/CD pipelines
- Optimized API gateway operations by upgrading the 3Scale platform and automating gateway deployments to increase velocity
- Enhanced system reliability and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Instana, providing full observability of the API ecosystem
A secure, scalable, and highly automated API platform was successfully delivered, improving developer experience, accelerating integrations with major banks, and establishing a foundation for UC AB’s future digital innovation.
